Laura Delchiaro is a costume designer, seamstress, and wardrobe professional based in Toronto, Ontario. She holds a diploma in Costume Studies from Dalhousie University, where she studied sewing, pattern making, and design, as well as an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, specializing in English Literature. Since 2010 she has been working in theatres and wardrobes all across Toronto and Nova Scotia, including the Stratford Festival, Canadian Opera Company, Canadian Stage, Neptune Theatre, and many more. Recent credits include: costume designer for: The Jusas Kiss, Into the Woods, For Both Resting and Breeding, Herringbone/The Yalta Game (Talk is free Theatre), Poison (Coal Mine Theatre), Romeo and Juliet (Lost & Gone), and Little Thing, Big Thing (Neptune Theatre); assistant costume designer for Chicago, The Crucible, Coriolanus, Long Day’s Journey into Night, and Tartuffe (Stratford Festival). In 2022 Laura will design the costumes for Gem of the Ocean at the Shaw Festival.
