
Laura Delchiaro is a costume designer, seamstress, and wardrobe professional based in Toronto, Ontario. Since 2010 she has been working in theatres and wardrobes all across Ontario and the East Coast, including the Stratford Festival, Shaw Festival, Canadian Opera Company, Canadian Stage Company, Neptune Theatre, Crows Theatre, and many more.
in 2022 she was nominated for a Dora Award for Outstanding Costume Design for her work on Talk is Free Theatre’s Sweeney Todd. She has been twice nominated for the Pauline McGibbon Award for Production Craftsperson (2022, 2025) and the Virginia and Myrtle Cooper Award for Costume Design (2024, 2025).
Recent costume design credits include: Oliver!, Chicago, Jersey Boys, (YES / Sudbury Theatre Centre), The Bidding War (Crows Theatre), People, Places, and Things (Coal Mine Theatre), The Chronicles of Sarnia (Blyth Festival), Heroes of the 4th Turning, Prodigal (Howland Company), La Bete, Sweeney Todd, The Judas Kiss, Into the Woods, Herringbone, The Yalta Game, For Both Resting and Breeding (Talk is Free Theatre).
Laura holds a diploma in Costume Studies from Dalhousie University, where she studied sewing, pattern making, and design, as well as an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, specializing in English Literature.
